Hello All!
Welcome to the Inspired Opinions Official Blog! We’ve created this blog to help connect you with the rest of the Inspired Opinions community! You will be able to share your thoughts, while also hearing the thoughts of your peers! But you will not be the only ones sharing on this blog! This blog will allow you to learn about Inspired Opinions, and the people that make it all possible! But before we get into that, we’d like to give you a quick background on how we came to be.

Who are we?
Inspired Opinions is part of the Schlesinger Associates family and focuses on the quantitative side of market research. Schlesinger Associates was founded in 1965, by Sarah Schlesinger! We’ve been conducting qualitative and quantitative market research for over 50 years! But we wanted to expand our reach and create a community specifically for our online quantitative research, and thus Inspired Opinions was born!

What is Quantitative Research?
Quantitative research is research that can directly be analyzed. Results from quantitative studies are measurable and can be analyzed using statistics. The purpose behind this type of research is to get a generalization of the population, and get a better feel on what is happening in the market.

What is Qualitative Research?
Qualitative research is primarily exploratory research. It is used to gain an understanding of underlying reasons, opinions and motivations. During qualitative research the respondents will describe their opinions through their point of view, and why they think that way. This gives researchers a better understanding on how the population views the product, or service.

How does it work?
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Inspired Opinions let us take a quick second to explain how it works. We are an online community that gives our members the opportunity to earn points by completing surveys. Once you have earned enough points, you can turn them in for a wide variety of virtual gift cards. If you aren’t currently a member, and would like to start earning points now, click the link HERE to register!

What is the purpose of this Blog?
For our current members, this is your chance to stay up to date with everything going on with Inspired Opinions. You’ll be able to learn about upcoming studies, exciting changes and the chance to meet the faces behind Inspired Opinions.

We want to open up communication with our members and give you the opportunity to share your thoughts not only with us, but with other members of the Inspired Opinions community.

What will we be posting on this Blog?
To start, we’ll be posting Employee Spotlights; giving you an exclusive look into the people you interact with frequently. Learning what we do and who we are as people. Over the years we’ve accomplished a lot, thanks to all of you! To help express our thanks, we’d like to share some of the stories with you.

You’ll not only learn about us, it’s our opportunity to learn about you! We’re a community and we’d like to encourage all of you to share what you’ve learned while working with us.

Every post will have a question at the end for you to comment on. To comment make sure that you’ve clicked on the individual post, that way the comment box will appear at the bottom. Your comments will shape the blog, and this community as a whole! Put some thought into your comments, some of them may lead to a guest blog post (with rewards)! And if you like someone’s comment let them know, share your Opinions!

Blog Question of the Week!
For our first blog post we’d like for you to share some of the things you would like covered in future posts. What kind of stuff would you like to see on here?!

Make sure to comment, and have a great day!

  1. Hello!
I am Kat, a several years member of IO. I love Inspired Opinions! I love answering surveys and getting rewarded with the same amount to spend on what I want as cash, but in a card.

Oh, you think a gift card is next to nothing or that it is not worth time or trouble? I beg to differ with you! The Giftcards that IO bestows upon a survey taker may be the same as cash. They also have new places, such as Wal-Mart, Target and several more stores on the gift cards offered by Inspired Opinions.

I would like to see higher rewards! Instead of a $10 credit, give out a $20 credit! After all, we survey -takers do spend time and energy answering honestly and working hard on any survey done. I think that I am worth more, as all of the other takers are!

In addition, I think that if I do work well for my rewards, I should get a bonus of some kind. Remember! Reward me, pat my back and welcome me back!

Thanks for letting me share here with you today. Just quick comments on my part…

    1. I am sorry! I could not find out how to edit my post above, so I am here to comment what else I forgot I needed to say! That is, the survey – takers are such a valuable pulse of the industries, and without research, there can never be a knowledge that helps companies fulfill their goals or profits.

Surveys concerning the top stories in the news when there is controversy or a number of different opinions are being expressed on social media.
Also animal welfare and shelter animals and putting a stop to abuse and puppy mills, adoptions, spaying/neutering, making a difference.

    1. Totally agree that surveys addressing social issues and attitudes would be welcomed. While not a animal lovers per say nature, environment, and views on climate (change) would make for more varying/interesting topics. Just a thought-smile.
