One of your fellow Inspired Opinions members, Karla, commented that they’d like to know the differences between Schlesinger Associates and Inspired Opinions.  We’d like to give a quick explanation of the differences between Schlesinger Associates and Inspired Opinions in this week’s post.  It is important for you to understand who we are, and the subtle differences in the Schlesinger family, so you never miss out on an opportunity to contribute your valuable feedback to the brands you love.

Who is Schlesinger Associates?

Schlesinger Associates is a leading marketing research company that connects market researchers and companies of all types with their customers.   All good brands seek the opinions of their customers as they grow their businesses.  At Schlesinger, we find the right people to answer the very particular questions that our clients have their brands: how customers use their brands, or why they choose their competitor’s brands.

There are lots of ways to connect brands with their customers, in-person and online to name a couple.   For our in-person studies, we invite consumers to our Schlesinger Associates focus group facilities in locations across the country.  For online studies, anyone who has an internet connection and is happy to share honest feedback can participate.

Who is Inspired Opinions?

Inspired Opinions is a Schlesinger Associates online community of people who are interested in sharing their opinions and views on a variety of topics to help influence the development of technology, food, healthcare and much more.   All sorts of people can join and participate in our studies to share their opinions and experiences; from consumers to medical professionals and patients, to business people.  You can share your opinions about the brands you love and earn rewards while you do it.  For every study you participate in, you will receive Opinion Reward Points that can be cashed in for a wide variety of online gift cards.

How can you participate?

Computer or Mobile Device:  For this all you need is your internet access and you’ll be able to share your opinions.  We tried to make engaging with us as easy as possible; participating online gives you the ability to participate at your own convenience.  You can fill out your survey in your own time wherever you are!

In-Person:   You can join us at one of Schlesinger Associates focus group facilities.  We have 16 US locations across the country (refer to Come Back Each Week! to see the full list).   It’s always fun to have a lively discussion with your fellow Inspired Opinions community members, and hear what others have to say about the same topic. Who knows!? You may meet some friends who share the same opinions you do!

By Phone:  If you are not near one of our local facilities, or you just don’t have the time to drive in, you can participate in one of our phone interviews at a time and place that is most convenient to you.  You can have the same friendly interaction as an in-person study from the comfort of your own home!

  1. The advice that I would give a fellow member would be to read everything you see in the email that Inspired Opinions send to you. They are very clear on how things are done and how you can make lots of points by answering their surveys. And I would also tell a fellow member to have fun,be honest and you will make lots of points each time you do a survey from them.

  3. I would tell them to keep track of their reward points, when they received them and when they expire. I wish that I had kept better records of the above because a couple of years back I lost Reward points because they expired.

    1. That’s a great piece of advice, Adele! We wouldn’t want you all to lose your hard earned rewards! Just making a simple list once you get them in the mail can be a lifesaver!
